Vision: In line with global trends, Terra FuelCell Co., Ltd. was established to develop hydrogen energy technology. Our goal is to implement a management system focused on energy, the environment, and people, positioning ourselves as a global leader in eco-friendly energy technology.
Objectives: There is an urgent need for eco-friendly energy technology materials and devices that can produce hydrogen stably and efficiently as we transition from fossil fuels to a sustainable economic and industrial structure that utilizes clean hydrogen as a primary energy source. By fostering a range of promising hydrogen energy innovations—such as hydrogen electric vehicles, fuel cell power plants, and hydrogen charging stations—we aim to secure new growth engines in Korea and contribute to youth employment by creating quality jobs. Additionally, in the face of global climate change, pandemics, and air pollution challenges, we support the national energy agency's transition to eco-friendly energy sources, aiming to establish an ecosystem that ensures growth and prosperity for future generations.
Corporate Identity (CI): By developing safe and sustainable technologies, we remain committed to our social responsibility. Through affordable energy solutions, we aim to enhance the quality of our customers' lives. The company name 'Terra' reflects our infinite potential for growth, derived from Latin, and signifies our dedication to protecting the global environment, including soil and land. Additionally, the Greek word 'geo' represents the twelfth power of ten, symbolizing our expansive vision.
Jun-Young Park, Ph.D. (CEO) served as the lead researcher in the development of high-performance stacks of several kW class mobile fuel cells at Samsung SDI Central Research Institute Energy Lab. Many papers have reported the results of the world's best multi-layered proton conductive ceramic battery research, and thousands of hours of long-term durability and deterioration mechanisms have been reported to demonstrate its applicability to next-generation energy devices. Since he joined a professor at Sejong University (2009), he has conducted researches on fuel cell and water electrolysis cell technologies for more than 20 years, including developing new cathode material source technologies for reversible Fuel Cells, theoretical analysis of electrode reaction mechanisms, and high-performance superior conductors. More than 200 papers are published in SCI-level international journals, more than 5,696 papers (H-index 44, i10-index 144, Google Scholar), and more than 30 domestic and foreign patent applications and registrations (as of 2025). As an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports, a sister journal of Nature, he contributes to academic development and serves as a paper reviewer for renowned international journals such as Advanced Energy Materials and Journal of Materials Chemistry A.
